Hi, I’m Liz, and after 15 years working in corporate and commercial real estate, I realized I wanted a career that felt more joyful, more personal, and more rooted in service. Dogs have always been my happy place, and building a business around caring for them felt like a natural and meaningful change.
Dogs have a way of making even the most ordinary days better. They bring routine, personality, and a whole lot of heart into our lives, and they deserve care that reflects that. That belief is what led me to create The Mutt Butler.
My partner and I live in Detroit with our two dogs, Winston, an Australian Shepherd mix, and Barkley, a Pit Bull with a big personality and an even bigger heart. They keep life interesting, remind me to stay present, and reinforce just how important consistency and trust are when it comes to great dog care.
